Jeff Walters has been a professional photographer operating his own commercial and portrait photography studio since 1980. A recognized expert in digital imaging, Jeff has consulted with imaging software companies, prepress and printing companies and professional finishing labs for the past fifteen years. He directed the development of software designed to meet the needs of imaging professionals. It was these efforts that evolved and eventually led to the foundation of PortalMedia.
Jeff has served on several state and national boards and committees for photography professionals, software development firms, and related industries.
Matthew Seifert
Director of Operations
Matthew Seifert, a native of Chicago, joined PortalMedia after graduating from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with his B.A. and moving to Madison in 1999.
Matt has been working with the web since its early days. Having more than twelve years of experience in web development and IT systems management, Matt heads up PortalMedia's web and application development services, data center operations, and also personally handles many of PortalMedia's client projects.
A very versatile breed, Matt regularly works with networks of mixed platforms and technologies. His development specialties include web design and application development using both open-source and Microsoft platforms, web 2.0 development using AJAX and Flash, data integrations between public web and internal corporate systems using SOAP and XML, and video/multimedia development for online or DVD-based distribution.
