Blain’s Farm and Fleet is a chain of retail stores throughout the Midwest. Blain’s Farm and Fleet stores have 150,000 items available for sale so that everything you need for your family or project are under one roof.
PortalMedia develops and maintains the Blain’s Farm & Fleet web site in its entirety, which has been built using Microsoft’s .NET framework. The site features full e-commerce capabilities with online payment processing using credit cards or gift cards. PortalMedia created a custom content management system to facilitate the management of many areas of the web site, and also created a custom integration with the company software to facilitate product catalog management, order fulfillment, and gift registries.
PortalMedia has also introduced new mobile web features recently, including custom landing pages, product browsers, and a store locator that is able to use a smartphone’s GPS features to find the nearest store and automatically provide driving directions.
Blain also uses our cloud server solutions to host the Farm & Fleet web site.
