Blain's Farm and Fleet is a retail chain of 34 stores throughout the Midwest. Farm and Fleet stores have 150,000 items available for sale so that everything you need for your family or project are under one roof.
PortalMedia develops and maintains Farm & Fleet's web site, which has been built using Microsoft's .NET framework. Major features of the web site include a searchable online product catalog, intuitive site navigation, automatic formatting for pages that would often be printed, online gift card purchasing, and full online management of gift registries. This is backed by a robust custom-built content management system.
We worked directly with the IT staff for Blain to jointly create an integration between their internal database and the online product catalog, so that product information, images, and in-stock status are pushed out to the web site automatically.
