Cleaning a Full Mailbox
Mailboxes can quickly fill up for several reasons. If you use the Customer WebMail or IMAP, or receive several messages with large file attachments, and/or setting your e-mail software to keep a copy of the message on the server, can fill up your mailbox if you do not take steps to manage your mailbox from time to time.
Sometimes a full mailbox or a malformed e-mail message can cause your e-mail software to not be able to retrieve message from the server. It is important that you make sure that your server-side inbox is kept clean. One way to delete messages on the server inbox is to use the Customer WebMail.

On the left side of the WebMail window is the list of server-side folders. You will want to check your Inbox, Drafts, and Sent Items (and any other folders you may have created) for messages that you wish to delete. In each of these folders, click the checkbox next to messages you wish to delete, and then click on the Delete button at the top of the message listing.

Finally, and most important, you need to purge the messages from the Trash folder to finally free space in your inbox. If your Trash folder contains any messages, you will see the text "purge" next to the Trash. Click on the purge text link to purge the messages from the Trash, and you will free up space in your server-side inbox.
