Step-By-Step E-mail Software Setup

This setup guide is for:

Microsoft Office Outlook 2003
& Microsoft Outlook XP or 2002

1.	From the Tools menu, choose Accounts.

2.	Under E-mail, select Add a new e-mail account, and click on Next.

3.	On this screen, select POP3, and then click on Next.

Enter in the account settings on this page.

Enter in your name as you would like it to appear on outgoing e-mail under Your Name.
Enter in the E-mail Address as supplied by PortalMedia.
Enter in the User Name and Password as supplied by PortalMedia.
Enter in mail.portalmedia.com as both your Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server.
Click on More Settings...

5.	In the window that appears, click on the Outgoing Server tab. Check the box My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. Ensure that User same settings as my incoming mail server is selected. Click on OK to close this window.

6.	Back on the Internet E-mail Settings window, you can now (optionally) click on Test Account Settings. Click on Next to continue.

7.	Click on Finish to close the wizard.
